HARAYA

From an experience came a dream. From a dream, a vision. What was initially a passion project turned into a business venture for a fashion enthusiast who not only found that her style and personal advocacies rarely converged, but also realized that it was finally time to turn a lifelong dream into a reality.
This decision led to the creation of Haraya, which loosely translates to “imagination” or the mind’s creative ability to envision images or external concepts presently not existing. Founded in 2020, this slow fashion brand aims to reinvent pieces for the modern Filipino man and woman looking to empower themselves through their clothing as well as take part in the movement toward a more sustainable future for fashion.
The Haraya Philosophy
With its array of simple yet timeless silhouettes made from earth-tone linen, Haraya dares to challenge the notion that over-the-top pieces are the only ones capable of drawing attention to their wearer. The brand then grounds itself on a different vision — one that recognizes the potential in relaxed fits, and seeks to elevate these into the statement pieces that they can be.
Every piece need not be intense to stand out; the same way that every voice need not be loud to be heard. Haraya believes in building a generation of go-getters, who embrace even the quietest parts of who they are and choose clothes that empower them. The brand is determined to be every visionary’s companion, offering the convenience of no-fuss fashion through pieces that are guaranteed to transcend both time and trends.
The Haraya Look and Feel
The versatility of Haraya’s classic designs allows each piece to be styled in different ways and worn on multiple occasions, from daytime brunches to romantic dinners, making them the perfect staple to add to any wardrobe collection. Linen material provides a second-skin feel, interweaving quality with comfort fit for a tropical country, while the use of earthy colors makes for a palette that is striking yet easy on the eyes.
In the brand’s efforts to minimize waste, each Haraya delivery comes with a plantable tag and is packaged in a biodegradable cassava bag.
